Malarm is a flexible, no-frills alarm scheduler for Android.

Features:

* One-time and date-specific alarms (e.g. "Rent due on the 15th") * Repeat schedules: daily, weekdays, weekends, weekly (custom days), or monthly * Snooze presets from 5 minutes to 8 hours, plus a configurable default snooze * Full-screen alarm over the lock screen, with the sound of your choice or silent * Alarms re-schedule to the correct local time when your time or timezone changes * Export and import all alarms as a backup file * Remove inactive alarms in one tap * Built-in event log that shows what each alarm did * Works completely offline — no ads, no tracking, no accounts

The app never sends data anywhere: it has no INTERNET permission at all. On newer Android versions it asks for the permissions needed to ring and wake the screen (notifications, full-screen alerts, and exact-alarm access). It is free and open source software, released under the MIT license.

What’s new

New in 0.6.3:
- Fixed dismissing an alarm disarming its next occurrence (the next day could silently miss)
- New missed-alarm detection: armed alarms that never fire are recorded in the event log
- Event log can be exported to CSV; scheduled entries name the exact trigger date and dismissals note re-arms
- Event log capped at 10,000 entries

How to install

  1. Download the APK from the button at the top of this page.
  2. Allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser or file manager only, not for every app.
  3. Open the downloaded file and confirm the installation.
  4. If installation fails with “App not installed,” remove an earlier build of the same app first. A signature conflict is the usual cause.
