Create live datamoshed videos with your camera
Datamosh is a camera for creating live datamoshed video.
Record a take as a sequence of hold-to-record segments. Add datamosh segments to carry motion from earlier footage into the next segment, or add a clean segment to reset the effect. Choose the resolution, frame rate, and supported video codec before beginning a take, and optionally use the inverted preview filter.
Finished videos are saved to the Movies/Datamosh folder in your device gallery. They can be previewed, shared, or deleted from the app.
Datamosh uses the camera and microphone only while recording. It has no account, advertising, analytics, or network features; recordings remain on your device.

How to install
- Download the APK from the button at the top of this page.
- Allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser or file manager only, not for every app.
- Open the downloaded file and confirm the installation.
- If installation fails with “App not installed,” remove an earlier build of the same app first. A signature conflict is the usual cause.
