Never get lost in the woods again. With Svampkompassen, the black arrow always points back to where you started your excursion. Just remember to save your position when you start walking.
When you find good mushroom spots, you can save those coordinates too, making it easy to find your way back to the same place later.
What’s new
The compass now points to true north. Bearings to a saved spot were compared against the phone's magnetic compass, which was off by several degrees while standing still.
The home position can no longer be overwritten by accident; it now asks first, showing how far away the saved point is.
Deleting a mushroom spot can be undone.
The app no longer gets stuck on a loading spinner when location services misbehave, and offers a way forward when permission is permanently denied.

How to install
Download the APK from the button at the top of this page.
Allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser or file manager only, not for every app.
Open the downloaded file and confirm the installation.
If installation fails with “App not installed,” remove an earlier build of the same app first. A signature conflict is the usual cause.
Data safety
Every file is checked against its published SHA-256 before it is listed.
Files are scanned for malware on every update.
