SkyPulse is an Android receiver for monitoring 1090 MHz Mode S and ADS-B traffic with an RTL-SDR.
It decodes aircraft data on-device using the separate FLOSS marto.rtl_tcp_andro driver, displays aircraft on a map, and includes offline FIR and TRACON boundary data. The map uses OpenFreeMap when opened, and boundary updates are optional.
For unattended stations, boot startup is user-configurable. Beast TCP output is optional, disabled by default, and limited to localhost for local tools such as readsb.
SkyPulse has no analytics, advertising, or account requirement, and does not depend on Google Play Services.

How to install
- Download the APK from the button at the top of this page.
- Allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser or file manager only, not for every app.
- Open the downloaded file and confirm the installation.
- If installation fails with “App not installed,” remove an earlier build of the same app first. A signature conflict is the usual cause.
Data safety
- Every file is checked against its published SHA-256 before it is listed.
- Files are scanned for malware on every update.
