F-Droid repository metadata
Wind Bubble floats a small dial on top of your navigation app and shows where the wind hits you relative to your direction of travel: headwind, crosswind or tailwind.
The dial is locked on your heading — the top is always where you are going — and a coloured marker sits on the ring at the angle the wind comes from: red straight in your face, amber across, green pushing you along.

Your position never leaves the device except as coordinates rounded to a coarse grid, sent to Open-Meteo to fetch the local wind.

How to install
- Download the APK from the button at the top of this page.
- Allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser or file manager only, not for every app.
- Open the downloaded file and confirm the installation.
- If installation fails with “App not installed,” remove an earlier build of the same app first. A signature conflict is the usual cause.
Data safety
- Every file is checked against its published SHA-256 before it is listed.
- Files are scanned for malware on every update.
